At Hideaway Creek, we know that many incredible indie books never receive the marketing budgets or visibility of traditionally published titles. Behind every indie novel is an author who poured countless hours into writing, editing, revising, designing, publishing, and promoting their own work… often wearing every hat along the way.
That’s why we created the Hideaway Creek Indie Author Spotlight.
Each month, we’ll feature an indie author, share their story, and help introduce their books to new readers. Because every author deserves the chance to be discovered.
Why We’re Doing This
As both an indie author and bookstore owner, I understand just how much work goes into publishing independently. Most of us are the writer, editor, marketer, social media manager, customer service department, shipping team, and everything in between.
This spotlight isn’t about competing with traditionally published books.
It’s about celebrating the incredible creativity, passion, and perseverance of indie authors while helping readers discover stories they may have otherwise missed.
